Default Boxing/ padwork after weights?

I'm trying to lose flab as well as put muscle on so I want to do some fat burning as well. Should I do an hours boxing or treadmill/crosstrainer straight after weights as I have been doing? How will this affect the results of my weight workout? I don't want to compromise the amount of muscle I might be able to gain.....

Thanks

Unless you're on steroids you can't do both at once, it's just not possible. you need excess calories to build and repair, and a deficit to lose weight.
Decide what you need to do at the moment.
Is your body fat high i.e over 20%? Yes? Do some cardio and get it down to a level you feel happy with.
Are you really carrying much fat? No? Then work on building some muscle.
Focus on some realistic goals and stick with it.

If you've got enough energy and time to do all that cardio after your weights session then carry on.
Try and keep your diet clean, try and get the majority of your calories from protein, include fish so you get some good oils in there as well. Workout a minimum of three times a week, preferably 4 or 5 times, and you'll soon shed the extra weight.
What's your diet like at the moment?

Not too bad- although it sounds like I need more calories rather than less as I've been doing. I thought you only need the carbs for the energy to train, and usually eat more carbs in the day before training on a training day. I didn't realise you need them after training as well!

Anyway my diet on an average day is roughly like this:

I usually start the day with a protein shake and a banana. Sometimes a bowl of cereal if I have time.

For lunch I usually have a sandwich under 350 calories if I can with a nutrigrain bar (about 150 calories) and a bottle of water, either this, or a plate of salad, potatoes and 5 or 6 eggs with the yolks removed.

In the evening I usually have chicken or tuna with new potatoes and a big bowl of salad.

If I'm training I have a protein shake about an hour after training, usually just before eating chicken or tuna. hhm. Is that protein overload?

And if I've done a heavy training session I usually have a shake before bed as well. Oh and I been recently taking this R1882 Pro Steroid thing as well, but that's only temporary..

This diet looks ok for losing weight although you're only eating 4 times so would recommend adding an extra something during your longest period without food. I certainly don't think your overloading on protein. Also I'd take my post-workout drink immediately after your workout or within 30mins after the workout. Include some carbs in you post-workout drink if it doesn't already have them. I also take a protein drink 30m ins before bed which I don't add any carbs to.
Your very unlikely to make any real gains on your pro-steroid as this diet will not provide you with the necessary calories. I'd save what you have left for a more appropriate time.
If you do stop them make sure you take the necessary PCT.

Oh Bugger. Well I may as well finish the cycle anyway. Perhaps I'll increase my calories just for the next couple of weeks- Lose the flab and start again. I unserstand i wont be able to lose body fat, but should I be able to prevent too much more from going on whilst ewating more if I do some extra CV? Oh and what's PCT by the way? Thanks

PCT stands for Post Cycle Therapy. If you don't know anything about PCT and the importance of it then you really shouldnt have started a pro-steroid course.
PCT helps your bodys hormone balance to normalize and to prevent any unwanted side effects following a steroid cycle.
Now you said you did a 2 week cycle of 17 a-methyl-17b-hydroxyestra-4,9(10) dien-3-one which istn't a long cycle and you probably won't have any problems. BUT check with the other members who are more informed on this type of pro-steroid so that they can recommend the best PCT. Until then don't start another cycle. If you're in the middle of a cycle then get that PCT advice ASAP. I'm not trying to alarm you but it is a very important part of taking these things.

Oh god... another person who has rushed blindly into something they shouldnt have messed around with.

They are 'pro' steroids simply meaning they are legal but just as potent and powerful as illegal 'non pro' steroids.

The fact that you haven't even heard of PCT is a representation of why you should NOT be taking them nor are ready. You need to get off these straight away but now your in the dilemma that you don't have PCT to help you through the recovery... Ideally you need nolvadex which I'm assuming you won't have access to or have a source to (nor will I grant you knowledge to on this site because you are too new a member).

I hope you learn a lesson here as you are an example why people who jump into these legal pro steroids (and I myself am included but at least I knew what I was doing) are doing themselves potential harm and they should be banned...

NIck

A little strongly put mate but in principle very correct a stern warning like this needs to be given but I think the companies that sell this stuff are just as at fault.

Rod you really should have researched this far more before you jumped into it.

PCT is post cycle therapy. Restoring your bodies natural testosterone production. What you have done by taking this pro steroid is surpress your natural output you are playing with your hormones.

Nolvadex should be used after that cycle I'd say 40mg for 7 days and then 20mgs for a further 14 - 21 days would be fine.
