Default Not Hungry Anymore........

On the topic of diet - do you guys find that your appetite diminishes as you get older? I mean I'm about 3 stone heavier than when I was 18 (now28 and 15 stone) and in better shape but i probably dont eat half what i used to. Nor could I if I tried. Is this just my body slowing down or what? Or could it be other factors like stress from work?

A reduction in BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is inevitable with aging, however factors such as stress may have a negative impact on your general functioning.

cant see at the age of 28 your bmr should slow down that much, hit 40, it slows by a 3rd, if you have done a strict diet plan in the past, then your gut should have got used to the smaller portions of food, hence the lack of large portions.

Yeah its probably just cause of age. I've never dieted much in the past and my work outs are heavier than they used to be. May be stress related too as my work can be a nightmare sometimes. So I really dont have time throughout the day to feed. So I end up having the basic meals Break/lunch/dinner instead and i cant take so much on board without overeating.
