Default ideal diet?

right, my diet was

Quote:
8:30-9 Protein Shake, with oats peanut butter and a Banana (maybe toast)

11:30 Chicken and Mayonaise Cob, Orange Juice or a 'Nutrition' drink, crisps, Choclate Bar

2:30-3:00- 2 fish stakes, 3 potatoes mashed then some fruit and a yogurt

(snacks in between)

8:30-9:00 tin of tuna in a sandwich, protein shake with oats peanut butter. 4 Boiled eggs.

i drink easily 2litres of water also aday ( if that means anything?)
ive tweaked it slightly (eating decent flapjacks instead of choclate bars etc) and have been fitting in slightly more meals, but have been finding it hard to keep a routine. For say 2 days ill have a good 6 meals a day at round about the same time daily, but then the next day it'll change. No consistancy at all in my diet...

Could anyone give me a rough idea at what times i should be eating and what?

made slight gains with what ive already been doing, but nothing significant...

Cheers Sean

just start a theoretical timer from the moment you wake up. eat every time period where (time you are going to awake in this day/6). easy

i.e. wake up at 8am, for a 16 hour day. 16/6 = 2 2/3, so eat every 2 hrs 40 minutes. obviously this is just a guide, doesn't need to be totally scientific.

thats some bad maths buddy. As u would eat at 8 (ie upon waking) you would then need only to eat every 3 hours and would still have an hour to spare.

I know you love me really.

its disputed a lot, but i would say 1 - 1.5 grams of protein/lb bodyweight per day for growth, up to 2 grams per lb if cutting.

so if your 200 lbs, take between 200 and 300 grams of protein in.
