STATS- 224 lb 6"2 approx 20%bf

my diet will look like this...

meal 1 - 4 whole eggs scambled with 20g butter
(28p 45f oc)

meal 2 - can of tuna 15g olive oil, 20g salad cream.
(20p 20f 3c)

meal 3 - 80g chicken breast, 40g edam chees, 15g olive oil.
(30p 30f 0c)

meal 4 - can of tuna, 15g olive oil, 20g salad cream, 1 cheese slice.
(25p 25f 2.4c)

meal 5 - 80g chicken breast, 40g edam cheese.
(30p 20f 0c)

meal 6 - 100g bacon, whey protien.
(40p 22f 0c)

As i cant train properly i am going to try and do some light cardio every day.

im keeping my carbs as close to zero as possible until i reach ketosis and then will introduce some brocily and other greens to see how many carbs i can handle and still stay in ketosis .

iv ordered my ketostix and i hope to have reached ketosis by the time they arrive (wednesday).

Any feedback would be welcome

I like keto diets. Most people find it hard to stay in ketosis, but I find it easy. You can drop a lot of body fat but you have to be careful not to lose too much muscle as this is possible. What has been your success like on these diets before?

i have, i dieted for my last show this way. if you are natural you stand to lose a lot of size.
i would make a couple of adjustments to your diet remember you need good fats not bad you also need to have a carb day once a week take in about 300grms of carbs on this day. this is basicaly the diet that i followed.

meal 1
6whole eggs omlette - with onion mushroom

meal 2
half a chicken
cup of cashews

meal 3
tin of salmon
brocoli and olive oil

meaL 4
whey protin drink mixed with one desert spoon of peanut butter

meal 5
steak veg

meal 6
whey protien drink mixed with one desertspoon of peanut butter

this was my diet the fats came from olive oil ,cashews, steak, salmon,
remember this is my diet and it worked for me ,

to adjust your diet
replace cheese with nuts, have whey with peanut butter, replace the bacon with steak, add brocoli and salad these have negligable carbs.

have a carb day once a week i also had a treat on this day chocolate icream ect . keeps you sane

take your vitamins and minerals 8)

nuts sounds like a good idea. are salted nuts ok or is salt to be avoided on keto?

i was wanting to add flax seed oil aswell. Is takng flax seed capsuels o.k.

Today was not bad. thought i would have been craving carbs but i didnt miss em at all. Wasnt able to concentrate at all at work though. but i know that will pass when my body makes the switch from glyco stores to bodyfat.

Avoid the salted nuts m8. this diet is extreme and it doesnt suit everyone i found it hard for about two weeks then my body seemed to adjust, to be honest i dont know if i would use this diet next time,
i have dieted with and without carbs and with carbs is easier on the brain as you have all ready found it can affect your concentration. 8)

One thing that concerns me about keto diets is that cortisol gets a free reign.

The best compound to block cortisol is insulin. As for cortisol inhibition, you can't really run blockers all the time - IMO keto diets are no more effective than non-keto diets. From personal experience i've had no problem cutting with a relatively high carb diet - carb cycling is also supposed to be very effective, even though i've not used it.
