Default help with diet.

Hi, as some of you might have read i'm new to bbing, would it be possible for you to have a look at my diet and let me know if its ok or need changing?

6-7am
100% mass shake
3 x egg whites

9am
3 x shredded wheat (skimmed milk)
banana

Noon
1 x brown bread sandwich
tuna, cucumber + low fat mayo
or
tuna/chicken + pasta / rice with chopped tomato
500ml skimmed milk

3pm
low fat yogurt
apple or grapes

6pm
chicken/lean mince/pork chop
rice/potato
green beans/carrots

9pm
100% mass shake
3 x egg whites
low fat yogurt

1/2 100% whey before work out.
1/2 100% whey + 2 tbls syrup after

also, am i ok eating white rice or does it have to be brown? is there much difference? and i'm trying to bulk, so is drinking 100% mass and 100% whey a good idea?

thanks

Diet is OK, but you definitely need to have a significant protein source with every meal

i.e. 9am, 3pm are pretty much just carbs.

Also, total protein is probably a bit low, doing the above will help that, but maybe the noon and 6pm meals should be a little more substantial, remember if you are trying to bulk you want to consume in excess of 1gram of protein per LB bodyweight. Instead of having 1 can of tuna in the noon meal, have 2 for example.

Good framework though, maybe needs a few tweaks.

Check out young gun's excellent guide to diet here:

all the best

Nick
