Default Don't fear the fat whilst bulking !

A lot of people are concerned about putting on fat whilst bulking up. I think that this one of the main reasons why you see these guys that bust their ass at the gym but really dont seem to be progressing at all, and resent you for your gains and assume you must be on steroids.

Bulking up is about eating eating eating. All the time. If you can't eat it, drink it, and if you can't stomach the entire portion then wait 20 minutes and try again.

There is a post on anabolicminds that i found interesting to read, its here:

http://anabolicminds.com/forum/bulki...tml#post272567

nothing groundbreaking, but just people's opinions, which echo mine.

DONT FEAR THE FAT PEOPLE ! IT WILL ONLY HOLD U BACK !

Nick

yes, sad to say but true! Even the pros "Fat up" off season when bulking...it is possible to lean bulk, but it takes soooo much longer and honestly it is probablly better to over bulk, add a couple % of bf and then cut back down...my problem is that cutting is the easy part which makes me really frustrated when I hit a target weight and then have to cut below it to get my bf back to where i want!

If your starting out i would cut down to a low bodyfat before you start to bulk. Then when you put on fat at least you have the knowledge to get rid of it again.

As long as your getting stronger each week or two while bulking using the 6-12 rep range you should be alright dont go over 20% body fat or yourll look crap feel crap and your health will suffer, too much fat isnt good it will also take a long time to lose which will be hell.
