Mine I feel are pretty minimal because I clean bulk. I cut out milk, cut down on the PB, Cut down on the bread, up the protein, Cut out most dairy, And try to take generally fewer carbs from sugar which is pretty minimal anyway. Just up the cardio and thats about it. |

I would cut down on the carbs, for example, only have carbs (all complex) on 2 out of the 6 - 7 meals. If anything i would eat MORE protein than bulking, 4 protein drinks with 4 meat intakes per day (a meat meal might consist purely of 1 large skinless grilled chicken breast, a drink meal might consist of 1 scoop whey, 6 egg whites in water). On a cut I would normally cut down on milk and peanut butter too, only having milk before bed. Always skimmed tho. I think the major difference is portion sizes. Instead of having 6 750 - 900 cal meals, i would aim for 6 - 8 4 - 600 cal meals. Also, ECA and cardio cut down my appetite to facilitate this. Other than that, somewhat overrated. I think one of the main things in a cutting diet is related to training. For example if you're doing morning cardio, avoiding carbs in the evening may be a necessity to minimize blood glucose. However I do agree that on a cut, protein is even more important, as your body is in a deficit, and may not have the calories spare to produce all the aminos. |
