Default Protein intake, too much?

Working out my daily intake of protein, it comes to 210 gramms give or take a couple either way, Now i only weigh 166lb, Is it advisable to reduce the amount or stay with it?

also working out carbs and calories

Chicken breast = ?
Jacket potatoe =?

any idea what the chicken and potatoe contain regarding calories and carbs?

As I said earlier I weigh 166lbs, worked out calorie intake to 3100. is this enough to build on or do i need to up them.

thanks

The need for protein may be exaggerated a little, but no harm in consuming more than the 0.7g per lb of bodyweight im sure

i agree that a high protein intake is advisory for bodybuilders. however, is it a definitive rule ? a good friend of mine eats no more than 200g of protein daily, swears there's no need to, and he's a very educated, very large, professional.
