Default Carbs good or the devil??

I am training 5 times a week in the gym running about 5km a time along with doing weights and I also play football twice a week (training and a match) I eat a lot of carbs still but have heard that you need to cut them out for the "6 pack"

Wont I just be knackered if I cut them out??

You'll be knackered but look at your abs at the end it will all be worth it.

not necessarily, just make sure that you keep complex carbs to a moderate level, and maybe drink isotonic beverages during exercise. No simple sugars at all, apart from dextrose post workout with weights.

What carbs are you eating?

Cutting out carbs is unhealthy, unbalanced, and unnecessary.

As long as you are sticking to basic rules like avoiding simple sugars (except PWO), not going mad late at night, and overall observing a balanced diet, there's nothing wrong with your diet consisting mainly of carbs - they are a far more useful form of energy than protein - most bodybuilders get obsessive about protein, but forget that carbs are an incredibly important fuel source.

Ask Jay Cutler about carbs

Wouldn't mind looking like him. However yeah carb cutting is obviously beneficial to an extent if done right.

mate with your schedule 4 the week if you cut out carbs i wouldnt want 2 b around u cause u would turn into a right grumpy sh*t! i have listened 2 a lot of advice regarding my carb intake but i found when i did as advised i lost some endurance in the gym so had 2 increase my intake, its been trial and error 4 me getting the ballance of my carbs right, but im 100% certain i wouldnt be going running, playing football and lifting weights on no carbs!
