Default question regarding lean mass

hi guys,

To make it short, i bulked for 9 months and my weight went from 70kg(64kg lean mass) to 85kg which obviously contained a lot of fat too afterwards! I did look much bigger than when i started and was much stronger. But now im down to 78kg(19% body fat) and my lean mass is still 64kg. I still look bigger than the last 12 months but having the same lean mass is pissing me right off(0kg gain in muscle mass i presume). Either I wasted 12 months of hard work or my body fat monitor is shite(omron fat monitor). Anything come to mind? anyone in the same situation?
Thanks

body fat monitor is shite! most of them are. go by how you look in the mirror its a much better indicator.
did you take any measurments last year to compare with?

hows your strength compared with when you started?

but imo the best 'fat monitor' is a mirror or a wife/gf. if you are looking bigger then you ARE bigger ... end of 8)
