Deadlifts are the king of lower back exercises as well as being a majorly compound movement and excellent mass builder.

If you're new to the move, go light and focus on perfecting your technique. Once you're readier to go heavy, look at 3-5 sets of around 10 reps for hypertrophy, or around 3 sets of 4-6 reps for pure strength.

Solid advice. I couldn't agree more.

Deadlifts are awesome.

pulls to knee is the best excersise in my view for your lower back.

hold the position at your knee for 3 seconds. 5x3.

it will make a world of difference to your back.
