Default HEEEELLLLLPPPP PLEASE !!!

Right I really need you fellas to boost my moral PLEASE! :cry: So your replies will be vv much anticipated. I have just completed my best 8 weeks of bulking ever. A good 10lb of natural solid beef :P . As mentioned b4 I am a rugby player but at the age of 36, playing out my final season (or 2) so I wanted to really go for it this year. Pre season club training started Monday - so alot of fitness work but with continued heavy weights and a good diet I was confident of maintaining all gains.

THEN!! Thursday the b*****d 14th of F**king July I get CHICKEN POX !!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

Now, I don't know if anyone out there has had the misfortune of suffering from adult chicken pox but it's hell. OK so the breathlessness has now gone and i can live with the scabs spots and itching, but - and its a big BUT - I have lost a stone in less than a week !!!!!!!.

Sorry to ramble on but if the musclechat family of friends can come up with any boosting messages - ideas - or encouragement it would really help me durring the next week- i will be at home in bed by the pc for the next few days so be assured your replies will be much appreciated.

you say 10lb of natural solid beef, if this is true when you get back to training and eating properly you should put that weight back on quite quickly(muscle memory).

Hang in there Paddi, we all know the saying "Wgat doesn't kill us only makes us STRONGER"...am i right
Of course i am..LOL

Really bad news but, wish i could offer some advice to help them but, i'm lost.
Kepp the head high and keep thinking positive, thinking bad/negative (when depressed) you'll loose even more weight, so be happy my friend.

i had adult chicken pox was about 14 yrs ago i soon put back on what was lost, just eat as much as you can.

i do remembber wearing a very snazzy paper bag on my head when i went out though lol.

cheers 4 the feedback already. Muscle memory, heard that branded about but never have had to questioned it, so that works then??????? Lets hope its not as bad my mind memory! ops:

You will get it back faster than you'll believe.

If you have no appetitite just keep drinking shakes and fruit juice, one for the protein and the other for minerals and macronutrients that arent as easily digestible when taken as pills.
