If you're looking to lose fat your carb intake is too high. I'm cutting at the moment and I keep my carbs in the 60-200 range and focus on low glycemic carbs, so no white bread, white rice, potatoes or sugary bread for me. ______________________ IronArena.com |

My goal is to add a little muscle while losing some bodyfat . Do you think taking so many carbs from fruit is ok ( mostly apples and banannas) ? cheers ______________________ If your gonna do something ,do it right |

To gain muscle you need to eat above caloric maintenance, to lose fat you need to run a caloric deficit. Decide what's most important and focus on that exclusively. With regard to fruit it's obviously a great source of nutrients and fiber, but in excess it will hinder your fat loss plans. ______________________ IronArena.com |

Loosing the excess weight is more important so that it doesnt get on top of me too much , then i can start bulking again Iv always been super lean naturally but i guess im at that age (23) were i need to work at it. should i up my protien and drop carbs or keep protien the same and drop carbs ? I will also add an ewtra training day to my routine just for cardio ______________________ If your gonna do something ,do it right |
