I train a Mon ,Wed ,Fri split and do 20mins on the bike after i lift to finish off as ia tryin to loose bodyfat aswell

my question is , is my carb intake too high or low ?

Also my carbs for my 3 main meals are potatoes and veg but for my other three packed lunch meals its almost all from fruit .

What are your goals? If you're on bulking cycle your carb intake is fine. If you're looking to lose fat your carb intake is too high. I'm cutting at the moment and I keep my carbs in the 60-200 range and focus on low glycemic carbs, so no white bread, white rice, potatoes or sugary bread for me.

Since iv just started training again from a long layoff (6 months) iv added a bit of fat . My goal is to add a little muscle while losing some bodyfat .

Do you think taking so many carbs from fruit is ok ( mostly apples and banannas) ?

cheers

Adding muscle and losing fat at the same time is unrealistic, unless you're running something like tren. To gain muscle you need to eat above caloric maintenance, to lose fat you need to run a caloric deficit. Decide what's most important and focus on that exclusively.

With regard to fruit it's obviously a great source of nutrients and fiber, but in excess it will hinder your fat loss plans.

come on bro how tall are you and how much do you weigh?

your on the right track you need to pile in as much cal's and protein as you can and supliment that with MRP if you aint got fat to lose!

whats gym set up?

I am 6ft 2 and 212 lbs

since xmas iv gained some fat and added two inches to my waist. Loosing the excess weight is more important so that it doesnt get on top of me too much , then i can start bulking again

Iv always been super lean naturally but i guess im at that age (23) were i need to work at it.

should i up my protien and drop carbs or keep protien the same and drop carbs ?

I will also add an ewtra training day to my routine just for cardio

basic rule is just stick to your 1.5g of protein per lb bodyweight a day, keep your fats and while cutting, use a guide of 1g of carb per lb of bodyweight a day with a 2g day once a week.

eat about high gi carb before your weight training and after. before to give your body fuel and accessible source of energy for lifting weights, high gi to replace glycogen storage used while lifting weights. rest of the times, eat low gi carbs.

totally depends on your daily structure though such as what time you train, what kind of job you have or what life you lead to which youd have different activity levels for.

im not fat fat . I have moved up to a 36 inch waist , have started to get chubby under my pecs giving my a very attractive man boob look and my face has puffed out (although i am losing weight out of my face now) . Starting this week im uping my training to 5 days a week so that i can do cardio tues ,thurs aswell .

Im not aiming for a really low bodyfat percentage but would like to get my waist back to 34" and get some deffinition back. Im on the right track now though with a clean diet that i sticking to well.

If anyones intrested i have a training log in the journals section . Not very advanced as most of the guys on here but its all experiance.
