Default Measuring body fat

Hi everybody

How do people measure body fat. How does the calipers method work. I have no idea what mine is and am just curious.

Also, what about those electronic body fat scales, any good??

Cheers
J

Wow, they seem way off then. I wonder if they can measure if you lose or gain bf even though the actual levels may be incorrect.

electronic scales only measure from the foot to the hip, so don't give an accurate reading at all. stear well clear! I remember trying those, and they gave me a reading of 32%, calipers on the same day gave a reading of 19%, then had it done with some electode thingys (can't remember correct term!) and that was 19%.

I was about to commit suicide when it said 32%!!
