like j says chicken, turkey and fish are the best. I also eat alot of steak and lamb, thankfully i dont like pork cos id prob eat too much of that aswell. Sometimes if ive not got the appetite (it does happen) i just put a peice of chicken fillet on the foreman and have that. its better than pizza.

I definately reccomend getting princes tuna in spring water, It's really easy to eat and doesn't stink! one can has about 25g of protein in it I think.

It's nice to add to pasta and stuff too.

Is there any major reason you can't take protein drinks? If it's taste there are lots of different brands, you can try diluting them with water or just adding a scoop to some milk - this generally tastes the best. If you find it hard to digest some brands have digestive enzymes and stuff in them. I'm sure you know that protein drinks are probably the easiest way to add extra protein to your diet...

I also reccomend lots of chicken too, especially in the forman grill! Peri-peri sauce rocks. One of my other favorite things is pasta with jalapeno and cheese sauce with loads of chicken from the grill, mmm.

Diet
Breakfast Oats with 10g creatine and ALA (500mg) (before workout)
Lunch Whey then Omelette (4 eggs, milk, ham/bacon) and 10g creatine, ALA (500mg) (after work out)
Meal Whatever
Late night munch - Pizza

Tom, you really need to try and educate yourself regarding protein intake and diet, your diet is appauling. You can ask peoples advice on the site and you will get info and other peoples opinions, don't you think it would be better to have the knowledge and form your own opinion?

The abbreviated version on protein digestion is aim to take in protein every 3 hours, be it solid food (egg, chicken, steak, fish, turkey, cottage cheese) or protein drinks.

Most important times of the day to eat protein is breakfast - which you don't take any, and after training. At these times the body will ingest protein best. There is no need to have whey with your omlette, you should be having it with breakfast.

Whats the big turn on with all the ALA? Have you been reading Muscle tech ads? After training get whey down your neck, or a protein bar - this is vital.

Meal - whatever reeks of laziness and lack of commitment. Nobody on this site should have to tell you what to eat here! I'm going to bcos I'm really frustrated at your lack of knowledge, Any of the solid protein sources i mentioned already with a baked potato and in your case cheese.

Late night munch - scrambled eggs if you need carbs at this point then a couple of slices of toast, but not pizza.

If you want to make gains you need to put the work in accross the board, training is the easy part, the commitment to diet and good eating seperates good physiques from guys who go to the gym!

Hi mate, try to avoid to much junk food, eat meat and two veg, chicken curries stuff like that.Your meals should be planned if they can, not on what tastes best but what will help fuel your muscles to help them grow. You will not make any gains on your current diet even if your training is perfect, the way i try to look at it is if your sweating it out in the gym make it worthwile and try to get some gains, if you dont eat correctly your wasting your time in the gym.If i have a bad day with regards to diet which should be rare i wont train that night ill train the following night, you must fuel your body to give it a chance to grow.

PS with regards to the shakes, i had the same probelem to start of with, just dilute them with more semi skimmed milk, and your get used to them when you realise eating chicken breasts and tuna get boring.
