My last cholesterol reading was 4.8 (Jan 04) (33 years old) Most of the fat is mono-unsaturated. The yolks contain all the vits you want too. Its rubbish to link dietary intake of cholesterol from eggs with someones serum cholesterol levels. The ones with health problems probably eat them with double sausage, bacon, fried slice and stuff and havent so much as walked anywhere in years..... |

Its all about the other foods you eat as well as a lot of eggs. I eat tons, always have done. I also consume tons of mackerel, trout, salmon and olive oil though. |

The human body is a very smart engine. I eat plenty of eggs and oily fish and the last time I my cholesterol tested my cholesterol was low. (below 3mmol). If you are healthy and active you shouldn't really worry about your cholesterol levels. Exceptions to the rule are if your family has a history of high cholesterol, or if you are taking steroids/PH as they raise HDL (bad) cholesterol levels. ______________________ 'Its not how much you lift, its how you lift it' Personal Trainer |
