Can see improved definition but dont wish to lose too much muscle, i know I will lose a bit. The weights that I do in those 20 minutes cause my muscles to hurt for 1 - 2 days after the exercise, and i'm doing an intelligent 4 day split, so no overtraining goin on. THoughts? nick ______________________ - Obsession is what lazy people call dedication - |

Have you heard of high intensity interval training? Type that into google and you will find some really interesting articles, sorry I can't give you some direct links, but they are easy to find. If maximum fat loss and minimum muscle loss is what your after check it out and give it a go, and you won't be spending half the time doing your cardio as what you were I started a routine 3 weeks ago and can really see results, it is tough going but enjoyable and anything but monotonous. I actually had to bolt out the gym the other day and vomit because I pushed myself to failure on my last "interval" of maximum intensity on the X trainer Think the ECA had something to do with it as well though. |

creatine is pointless when cutting, just gonna make you hold more water making you look less cut, which really takes away the whole point of 'cutting' | |

Creatine will aid recovery from training and especially cardio fatigue, then once you BF levels are at a point whereby you are happy, remove the creatine to drop the water. Have a read of this info mate and then make up your own mind http://abcbodybuilding.com/creatine%...0and_facts.php If you missed the bit about creatine and cutting here it is: Q: Since Creatine makes you gain weight should I not take it on a cut? A: Yes, creatine causes your body to hold water, but that is a good thing! The fact that your muscles are super hydrated even on a cut is fantastic. I see absolutely no correlation between taking creatine and our body storing fat. If anything, creatine will assist us in maintaining more lean mass while dieting. In my mind there is no point to discontinuing the use of creatine while trying to burn fat ______________________ 50% of Training is nutrition 50% of Training is not overtraining If you cant gain see the above. |

| it wouldnt make u retain any fat so in that sense using creatine to cut makes just as much sense as to bulk. The point is as it makes u retain water it makes u appear puffy now this might just be me but i couldnt care less if my bodyfat is 8% if i still dnt look it. So i dnt normally use creatine when cutting. Althou i dnt find this so much with CEE which is awesome. ______________________ In This country you gotta make the money 1st, then when u get the money, u get the power, then when u get the power, u get the woman. | |
