Default Body Fat

What is everyones body fat percentage? I was just hoping to gauge what others are like in comparison to me
I think mine is around 11-13% but I'm not exactly sure! Will find out soon tho.

Cheers

Si

I use the calipre method as I was trained as a dietitian (Uni) and mine comes out at 18% at the mo. Quite a lot for me but it is based on dead, normal non-training people so a BB'er would always be slightly less so im guessing around 15%
Im halfway thru a bulker tho and currently im at 20 stone 6 lbs and rising!
I do feel like a fat knacker tho

David, This might sound a bit daft, but with you sitting at 15% bf, do you look cut? If not, what bf% do you drop down to in order to look cut?
At 20st 6lb you are a beast! Keep it up!!

Hi Si

Mine is 19% at moment, remember us lasses hold a lot more than you guys!

I'd like to get down to 17%, but that will be fairly tough. Denise Lewis, when competing in the olympics gets down to 13% which is really low for a woman, i mean, look at her abs!!!!

Well, you can see my abs as a column but not individually, they kick in at around 12% and look great at 9%. Im holding a lot of water as I dont take any anti-oestrogen action (dont get gyno, hoorah!!) and this makes me pretty strong.
With a pump I look great, when it goes down my wife says I look like the michelen man with a puncture.

Hi mate. Have to get the wife to do subscapular (back/shoulder blade) and the tris but I can do the rest. It aint very scientific, even the medical fraternity will say that but it is relative.

Hi Gail, How are you getting on? Hope you are feeling well and your stomach is A1! Some of these olympic atheletes are incredible. 17% is really excellent. Makes me think I am talkign rubbish about my own levels of b/f. I tried an internet site that was Navy based and said that the results were almost the same as calipers, but I'm not so sure!! I have spoken to the gym and have booked myself in for a full b/f test and Sylvia (the personal trainer) said I need to take my top off so I can get measured!!! Actually been dying to do that Don't think my upper half is all that bad anymore!!! ops: I have been using green tea extract every day as I heard that was good for getting rid of fat. Gonna do an ECA stack once I have finished bulking I think too.
Also, just to keep you posted, I have my hot lady friend coming round to mine 2moro night to see the flat and go for something to eat!! Looking forward to it! ops:

Hi Si, thanks for asking, my guts are back to normal! I am tried internet sites to calculate body fat and it usually comes back within 1.5 - 2% of caliper method, so your probably not far out.

You watch what you;re doing with this sylvia bird, any excuse to get a man out of his kit eh!?

You say your upper body is good, do you train your legs? I have found that the guys I train with avoid legs, and just wear long training bottoms so that no-one can see their legs. Thing is though, if you train your legs hard enough, they are the only muscles to release growth hormones, which will help the rest of the muscle groups progress. Thats why you hear really big guys saying that the most important group to train is legs, cus if your legs get big, the rest of you will follow.

Good luck with the lady friend, she seems keen!!! Keep it up si, your doing something right!!

Ive just done my stats and can I just say 36 inches was a typo, its normally 35' and its up to 38' now not 36' (I wish!!)
I havent been to the gym since Sunday and the rest are as follows:
Arms 19 1/2 ''
Expanded chest 54 ''
Waist 38 '' In pure BB'er terms this should be 2:1 ratio on stage (So im miles away)
Thigh (Right) 30 ''
Calve (R) 19 ''
I did have a digi camera but along with my mobile and hair clippers only my son know where it is and he's 2 so speaks garbage (pain in the ass)
Have got a crappy old one so will get some pics asap.
