Default uncontrollable hunger

ive been training 11 weeks now and I think my body wants me to consume more. It has become very inconveniant and I am sometime needing to have 7 meals a day. They can be fairly large meals sometimes like lasagne. I feel like a monster some days after consuming the whole fridge. Any ways to help this? or am i at the stage where I have to eat that much? any foods that will control my hunger for at least 2 hours? supplements? cheers

Matt

Don't worry about it mate, as long as you are listening to your body and consuming good foods you'll be OK.

Write down everything you eat and drink for 3 days. Make one a weekend day and include booze if you do. There's loads of free tools on the net that can help you compute it into food groups/cals then you'll really know WHAT you should be choosing whenever you feel hungry. Feeling hungry when training hard is a blessing; its what to know to eat thats the problem. Lasagnes' nice but its a 'cheat' meal.
Once you've consumed the recommended levels of the groups, depending on what you want to achieve body fat/mass wise (and you're still starving) there's a few things that can be done to curb/resist an unwanted appetite.
