| Making Progress | I know I have posted questions about this before, but I have amended a couple of things on my diet and maybe wanted some feedback on it as you guys are more knowledgeable than me. I am at 14st, 6'2" and want to continue to add good quality mass. Seem to have slowed/stopped and decided to add some more carbs and protein to meals two and four....does it look good and is it a good idea? Other than that, I think the diet is good, but just think it needed tweeking so that I keep putting weight on and thought that I could improve on those two particular meals. Any comments/crit? Thanks again, Si 8) ps. Also, does anyone have a rough idea of how many cals are in this diet? I am not too sure. My guess was 4000? But am probably waaaaayy off the mark......I think I need round about that amount to keep growing, as my metabolism is like greased lightening. Meal One: 7am 3x Weetabix Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals) Flax oil, multi-vits & mins, green tea extract Meal Two: 10am Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals) Wholemeal Pasta with olive oil and half a can of tuna Meal Three : 1pm Large Chicken breast 1 cup of brown rice fruit or veg. Flax oil Creatine Meal Four : 4pm Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals) Wholemeal Pasta with olive oil and half a can of tuna Training 6-7pm Meal Five : Immediately after training Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals) Meal Six : 7.30pm Can of Tuna Large plate of plain pasta Veg Fruit Meal Seven : 10pm Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals) ______________________ http://www.gibbarchitects.co.uk/BLUE%20LOGO.gif |

| Making Progress | Thanks Gail, I was hoping that it would be quite high and 5000-5300 certainly is. Pretty sure that is good enough for me to grow and I just need to stick to it. Like you were saying in the other post, its hard to be really regimented with it. Every weekend I go round to my mum and dads for a feed and its pretty good Thats part of the reason I want to get bigger/more muscular is to help self-confidence and I think its working. I haven't felt so healthy in my whole life and thats the truth! Si 8) ______________________ http://www.gibbarchitects.co.uk/BLUE%20LOGO.gif |

| Making Progress | Alright Dave, How are you? Hope you're well. Thanks for the encouragement there! I keep setting wee goals in my head for the next time I go to the gym so hopefully the gains keep coming. How are you getting on with the new training programme? Keep me posted with it. I am going to pinch a few bits from it if you don't mind? Its a beast of a schedule man and loads I can adopt for myself. The girl I met is really nice, and very slim and pretty (makes me a bit of a wreck as I'm used to dealing with ugly munters). As Homer Simpson would say, she "has a butt that won't quit." Nice. 8) ______________________ http://www.gibbarchitects.co.uk/BLUE%20LOGO.gif |

| Making Progress | Thanks Dave. I'll let you see what I've done and will type it up and mail it on to you so you can see it if you like. I was on the brink of turning to Partick Thistle after last seasons performance and also some of the morons that go to the rangers games sicken me. Just gonna be an armchair fan this season I think! Anyway, going to the gym and working-out hard, is far more productive than sitting freezing your nuts off munching a pie in Ibrox! | Making Progress | I know, they are rotten. The only pies I like have hairs on them I'll review my training programme and send it on. It will be a couple of days until I get the time to it properly, but I'll send it to you ______________________ http://www.gibbarchitects.co.uk/BLUE%20LOGO.gif |

I too am a football fan, well if you can call a Wolves supporter a footie fan after their performance last season!! Don't tend to go to the matches as much now cus there aint many wolves fans to go with in my area!! Only my niece and I, she's a proper 'Dingle' though and only 11 years old, she's quite obscene at the matches!
