Default My Bulking Diet

I know I have posted questions about this before, but I have amended a couple of things on my diet and maybe wanted some feedback on it as you guys are more knowledgeable than me. I am at 14st, 6'2" and want to continue to add good quality mass. Seem to have slowed/stopped and decided to add some more carbs and protein to meals two and four....does it look good and is it a good idea? Other than that, I think the diet is good, but just think it needed tweeking so that I keep putting weight on and thought that I could improve on those two particular meals. Any comments/crit? Thanks again,
Si

Hi si

I reckon the calories in your diet are around 5000 - 5300. Depends on how much pasta you're having with meals really, but i think you're well over 4000. Jammy git, I wish I could eat that much!!!!

Thanks Gail, I was hoping that it would be quite high and 5000-5300 certainly is. Pretty sure that is good enough for me to grow and I just need to stick to it. Like you were saying in the other post, its hard to be really regimented with it. Every weekend I go round to my mum and dads for a feed and its pretty good but tea-time is earlier than when I eat usually, but its not too bad. And you can't really beat your own mums cooking tbh! Also got a date with a really nice girl on Wednesday coming and I was kinda thinking thats when I was gonna do my back & Bi's in the gym! AAARRRGGHHH!! Thats terrible eh, cuz its also good to take a break but its very addictive training and eating, esp when you are focused on your goals. Probably get there in the end tho!! The good thing about this girl is she likes to workout too, and she loves football, so there is never a shortage of things to talk about! The only problem is she's a c*ltic fan, and I support rangers..... She's a babe tho ops:
Thats part of the reason I want to get bigger/more muscular is to help self-confidence and I think its working. I haven't felt so healthy in my whole life and thats the truth!

Alright Dave, How are you? Hope you're well. Thanks for the encouragement there! I keep setting wee goals in my head for the next time I go to the gym so hopefully the gains keep coming. How are you getting on with the new training programme? Keep me posted with it. I am going to pinch a few bits from it if you don't mind? Its a beast of a schedule man and loads I can adopt for myself.
The girl I met is really nice, and very slim and pretty (makes me a bit of a wreck as I'm used to dealing with ugly munters). As Homer Simpson would say, she "has a butt that won't quit." Nice.

Thanks Dave. I'll let you see what I've done and will type it up and mail it on to you so you can see it if you like.
I was on the brink of turning to Partick Thistle after last seasons performance and also some of the morons that go to the rangers games sicken me. Just gonna be an armchair fan this season I think! Anyway, going to the gym and working-out hard, is far more productive than sitting freezing your nuts off munching a pie in Ibrox!

I know, they are rotten. The only pies I like have hairs on them
I'll review my training programme and send it on. It will be a couple of days until I get the time to it properly, but I'll send it to you

Hi guys

Simon, good luck with the big date!! Don't worry, one night missing back and bi's is ok!! I'm the same, i had to leave work yesterday, got bad stomach ache and I was meant to train back and bi's last night, feel guilty now cus I'm a workout behind my fella and I'm trying to sort out when I can squeeze it in - MADNESS!

I too am a football fan, well if you can call a Wolves supporter a footie fan after their performance last season!! Don't tend to go to the matches as much now cus there aint many wolves fans to go with in my area!! Only my niece and I, she's a proper 'Dingle' though and only 11 years old, she's quite obscene at the matches!

On Wednesday si, treat her like a lady......u never know where it might get ya!!!!!

gailx
