Default Seem to have stopped adding weight...

Morning,
You guys will probably know more than me about this, but I have been adding weight quite nicely over the past 2 months. I have put on nearly a stone and a half ( 12.5st - 14st 8) ) but the last week or so I haven't added any more poundage! I think I may have to increase my food intake in order to keep adding weight. Is it too soon to tell if I have stopped bulking? Or should I increase what I'm eating? I can post my current diet up so you can see what its like if thats any use?
Thanks for any help,
Si

ps don't want to stop at 14 stone and would like to do what a lot of you's are doing and keep getting bigger! My aim is for 15.5 / 16 stone for the fairly near future, which I don't think is unrealistic is it?

I think uve done brilliant to put on a stone n half in two months.

Up the cals 1000 is the norm usually when the bwt gains stop.

Probably would be beneficial to post your diet tho, the more clued up guys in here would be able to point out other areas to change maybe.

Thanks for that Vinger. Its been hard work and I have managed to go from 12.5st, to just under 14st. Lots of ppl I haven't seen in a while have commented on the change so I felt like I was getting there. I think you are right tho about upping the cals. I will post up my diet in a post after this so I can get feedback.
Cheers man 8)

Here is my current diet.....let me know your thoughts...

Meal One: 7am
3x Weetabix
Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals)
Flax oil, multi-vits & mins.

Meal Two: 10am
Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals)

Meal Three : 1pm
Large Chicken breast
1 cup of brown rice
fruit or veg.
Flax oil
Creatine

Meal Four : 4pm
Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals)

Training 6-7pm

Meal Five : Immediately after training
Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals)

Meal Six : 7.30pm
Can of Tuna
Large plate of plain pasta
Veg
Fruit

Meal Seven : 10pm
Protein weight gain shake (with ss milk) (450cals)

Also drink bucket loads of water during the day, and in fact, spend half my working day in the bog

I think I could maybe add some whole foods into meals two and four. Maybe tuna, eggs or carbs? Would that be a good thing to do? Any help would be great thanks!

Si

Hi Si,

Stacks of protein in your diet, but I don't see lots of carbs during the day/morning. I'd up those mate, may or may not work.

Also, have you tried a gainer a opposed to a straight protein supplement.

made a big difference to me and helped me get over a plateau. sometimes it's hard to eat enough

Hi Mutley
I think the protein shakes I use from H&B are weight gainers, but I will try adding more carbs to my morning dietary routine I think. I will cook up some pasta each night and have it the following day. Also thinking about eating extra tuna in the morning & afternoon, but I am wary of stinking up the office I work in! Don't think ppl would mind tho, and I sit next to the window anyway!
Like you say, it is difficult to eat enough at times, but I s'ppose the struggle will be worth it!
Si

Hi Simon,

I know what you mean Bruv! I got a promotion and had to move away from a window : (

But I do get wary of my chicken/turkey and veggies appearing every couple of hours!!!

Luckily I work with some real good people who after the 'what is that...' comment on how good it smells - or are they just being nice!!!
:? :? :? :? :?
