Default COLD WATER

Heard that drinking cold water is better because it helps mobilise fat cells? is it true or just rubbish?

Yes mate water in general stems your appetite, therefore allowing your body to metabolize fat that is stored. Basically what it means is that if you dont drink a regular quota of water daily, then your kidneys dont function as they should which means that the liver takes on extra work to compensate for the kidney problem, which in turn means that the liver cannot metabolize excess fat stored there. Hope this has cleared up a little for you.

Bump to themule and also...

Drinking ice cold water theoretically helps to speed up your metabolism - the idea is that the body has to produce more heat to handle the ice cold water.

I can't remember where I read this but I'm somewhat doubtful of it!!!
