I would take some of your fruit in the morning, as I would take a Whey Gainer at around 16:00 mate as Steve said, maybe mixed with one of your pieces of fruit. You really don't want to be taking on too many calories at once, especially when it gets into the evening, especially the carbs. That said, don't skimp on the carbs. If you are pushing yourself, then you will need the extra energy that they give you. Try and stick to a smaller meal around that time, especially if you are going to tuck into a protein shake as well. The key is to keep your diet clean, if you can do that then you won't go too far wrong, even when taking on plenty of extra calories - keep off refined foods and stick to high quality complex carbs. You should be OK |

It looks like your only getting about 60g a day and thats very little. If you wernt working out then that would be enough but when your training and hard you need more protein, up it to about 180g+ a day |

I take in about 70g Protein in my food, and have just changed Protein Shake to Nutrisports " 90+ Whey" which gives me 45g per shake (90 a day with my current diet). I guess what you guys are saying is add another shake before training which should give me around 180/200g a day. I'll add this to my intake and let you know how I get on. I think my calorie intake is good. I tend to steer clear from junk food. The main prob I have is I'm normally bloody starving by the time I get home after my workout and want to 'chow down' big style. I suupose more is better than less. Will try to spread food intake a bit more evenly. Again, Ill let you know how I get on. Again, thanks for the help. Moe |
