Default any chance of some protein advice please?

hey,
please could someone tell me the best way to meet our daily protein quota?

obviously i take whey after workouts but i dont want to be taking several whey shakes every day for the rest of my life (it still takes loads of protein to maintain muscle), and cooking up a chicken or turkey everyday is both impratical and expensive.

So far the two best methods of getting quick natural protein in are tuna and eggs (although you still need to eat a lot of eggs to reach 150+ grams of protein a day)

so could someone please give me some handy hints as to how i can get a decent amount of natural protein in each day.

i hear peanut butter is a good snack? is that true?

thanks

Sorry mate i cook up chx or beef everyday, its the best form and of best use to your body. Tuna is pretty good and eggs but i would get your daily protein from a varied sources as possible.

Its real time consuming and you just have to think about the gains

i take protein shakes, a tin of tuna and an egg or two - daily

im thinking about adding some chicken and turkey to the above

it is time consuming, but if you want to build up and gain muscle, you have to pay the price

It is difficult, especially when you've eaten SO much of a item over time that it makes you sick. I cant touch Tuna now.
Beg, steal, borrow or do whatever to get yourself a Makro/ Cash + carry card. Buy things like tinned mackerel, sardines (loads omega polys). 20 g protein per can 30p.
They do a half fat cheese (not ideal but a more favourable fat content than peanut butter) 1 KG for 2.50!!

thanks everyone for your help! hmmm looks like there arent any shortcuts cuts on this one. Just out of interest what percentage of your protein intake do you get from supplements as opposed to natural sources, tuna etc? cheers
