I am using Creatine and protien suppliments with a balance high protien diet. I was told to cut my milk out of the protein drinks to loose the excess water and fat I am carring. Is this correct? |

So, first off drop the creatine. Keep the Diet high in Protein and keep taking the Protein supplement. Substitue whole milk or even semi-skimmed milk for skimmed milk (it is still high in protein) but has very little fat in it (about a trace). To lose excess fat you need to burn more calories than you consume, so try to either exercise more frequently or do more cardio...or even both. When I say exercise more frequently I mean 6 days a week (one body part a day or even 6 days a week two workouts a day and also cardio) this will make you burn more calories as you're been more active during the week and burning more fat. Competition bodybuilder do this before a contest and it burns loads of calories (compared with working out 3-4 times a week). Fat is burned from all over even though you have it around your lower back and abs etc. I cant see what cutting out milk will do for you to lose excess water and fat.... Water doesnt have any calories in it, so you could try switching your protein supplement with water instead of milk, but to cut milk out to get rid of excess water???? Well there you go mate, it's a start so let us know how you get on. |

When moneys short I go for my own protein powder which Ibuy skimmed milk powder and Nesquick Chocolate flavour milkshake mix and add milk, its high in protein and tastes quite nice but not with water....uuugghh. |
