far superior in what way ?..... ground and pound ? no way...wrestling ? no way.....stand up,possibly...submissions ? again possibly.....pure competetive spirit and will to win,absolutely no way.....
one thing to remember,its been proven time and time again that guys going over to ufc from pride, in general do not do well.......ask cro cop or vanderlei silva !!

Im not saying couture would beat him...he probably wouldnt......fedor is possibly the best heavyweight in the whole of mma at this time......but...many people have written off randy couture time and time again and lived to regret it...who thought he would beat tim sylvia or gonzaga or even chuck liddell...and that go,s all back to the late 90,s when people were writng him off even then.....all im saying is in a fight where randy couture is taking part,technically superior or not,bigger/stronger or not....i will never again be surprised to see couture come out on top.
