Well I reckon we all know by now the outcome between tank and kimbo! So Kimbo and lenny? Hell, after watching a couple of his fights on youtube just, I reckon Lenny would have wasted kimbo easily. God bless ya Lenny

I used to live about 10 minutes from roy so yes we would chat occasionally, also he does a lot of presentations at the boxing events and like lenny is a genuine and stand up guy.Personally i dont glorify crime and find it amusing that guys so deep in the criminal world want to write books telling the world, but i guess its the power of the dollar and crime sells.Apart from that both guys certainly made the best of what they had and good luck to them.
Its worth remembering that lenny was 6ft 3 and 20 stone whereas roy was 5ft 9 and 16 stone so all things considered roy put up a good show back in them fights.

I'd like to see Kimbo and Butterbean, people laugh at Butterbean because he's so fat but if that overarm right catches you its curtains, he may be fat but he has a killer punch.

In his day he was desperate to fight Tyson but couldn't get near him due to Tysons management not seeing him as a credible opponent. I read that as seeing him as a serious threat, I believe the way Butterbean fights would not have suited Tyson and with his punching power he could have done Tyson damage.

Lenny Mclean was savage, quite something to watch, but I don't know how he'd have adapted to having a referee and Marquis of Queensbury rules. I also know people who have met him and they said he was a total gentleman but if you showed lack of respect or manners his alter ego wasn't slow in correcting you.

I like the idea of Kimbo vs Butterbean, but would u want to see that fought by queensbury rules or MMA rules?? Kimbo mate his name with a boxing style but beat Ray Mercer with a choke. I would love to see Kimbo go up against someone like Butterbean, Tyson or even Holyfield.

Believe me mate lenny could box as well as fight....if memory serves me correct he was turned down for a licence by the bbboc after they was made aware he had participated in ( and won ) the king of the gypsies...hence he turned to the unlicenced circuit...personally i dont think he had the discipline either inside or outside the ring to make a top class pro athlete.....many trainers over the years have said how they would love to have had him as a prospect.
As for that cartoon character butterbean, what would make anyone think he would stand any more than a punchers chance with any of the names mentioned.A hard punch needs mobility and speed to land...yes if he connects with a clean shot within the first 2 minutes it will be lights out,but that applies to any heavyweight not just him and nobody of a decent level would allow themself to be caught clean early on like that.
Unfortunately tysons not far behind him, although he ended up a cartoon character also he did at least have some tools early on,just a shame he didnt have the insides for it....holyfield ? now theres a totally different class of athlete.....made tyson quit twice, consistently beat bigger men, what people forget is his best days were as a cruiserweight,he could have held that title for as long as he wanted it.

I heard Holyfield is still very game for a fight, someone told me at he keeps applying for a license but getting turned down. Not too sure how true this is, sounds a bit to much like Rocky Balboa.

he may not have had great mobility but his punches were fast.

I don't think Butterbean is a joke, yes he's fat but its not stopped him knocking a helluva lot of people out, the guy can box and he can punch which makes him a credible threat to anyone in my opinion.
