| Making Progress | What is the difference between biological protein and any other protein....and what is best ? thanks ______________________ im forever blowing bubbles pretty bubbles in the air they fly so high,nearly reach the sky then like my dreams they fade and die |

I've also heard of synthetic protein and found some interesting information but nothing of relevance to the question above. Long story short wouldn't waste to much time comparing apples to organge, just eat JMO ______________________ The little men who live behind my eyes and scream directly at my brain told me to tell you hello. | Making Progress | I was reading a thread on here about soya mince being 52g of protein per 100g....1 lad was saying yes but its biological protein,another lad was saying so what its still protein.....just wanted to get some understanding of the difference ? ______________________ im forever blowing bubbles pretty bubbles in the air they fly so high,nearly reach the sky then like my dreams they fade and die |

Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 631 Rep Power: ![]() | You're refering to the thread started by Wilto when he quoted that soya mince was vegetarian protein and not 'biological'.Which in fact it is.It just has a different biological value which means absorbtion into the body and physical usage differs from what most of us BB'ers would maybe prefer to use i.e.Whey.But its Glutamine rich protein and makes a good evening meal/protein intake.Protein is protein.Some women wear skirts and some women wear trousers.They're both women its just that ones more easily accessible than the other! ______________________ "Practice puts brains in your muscles" |

I was just thinking that protein from Meat would be better than a synthetic one which you probably find in vegetarian soya mince. | |
