| Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 12 Rep Power: ![]() | Hello all, Im trying to find out what to eat and when to eat it. everyone keeps saying about six to seven meals biut how large do these meals have to be. Im only 10 stone and quite skinny i dont think i can eat seven meals a day ! |

Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 632 Rep Power: ![]() | Little and often is a term you'll hear alot.I'm lucky that i can eat whenever i want at work.I can pretty much hit 6 meals between waking at 6am and hitting the sack at 9:30pm but they're not really meals to be honest.I usually cook a dozen little chicken goujons in the evening,you know the mini fillet thingy's,put them in the fridge and take them to work in a tub accompanied by a tub of brown rice and just nibble on them throughout the day,a couple of protien shakes in a flask too.You don't have to eat them plain,i sprinkle Cajun or tandoori powder on them before i grill 'em.Or throw in some red and green pepper's.You can also buy frozen salmon fillets in a bag made by Young's,you get about 6 or so.Have one poached with just a couple of sprig's of broccoli,dead easy to get down,light on the tum and loads of the good stuff.2 scrambled eggs on a slice of wholemeal toast aswell. | Legend | you need to be having a meal every 2 and a half to three hours m8 being consistant with your meals is realy important if you want to make solid gains . as gazz says they dont have to be massive you can start by having 4 solid meals and two shakes a days ive gave a example below this is just a idea of how to set out your meals and some suggestions. it realy doesnt matter what order you have them in shakes are allways good for work meal 1 6 eggs 2 yolks bowl of otmeal meal 2 protien shake -bannana meal 3 tuna or chicken with rice or jaket tata meal 4 lean meat or fish potatoes or rice or patsta loads of veg meal 5 protien shake meal 6 cottage chease on toast or quark if your at work or going out for the day make sure you prepare the meals to take with you the night before . tuppaware and protien shakers are a must m8 . get cal to invite you to one of his tuppaware parties .not to be confused with his ann summers parties ______________________ better to burn out than fade away |

But staying on topic follow that simple diet as a start that fat boy gave you. Quick tip for bulking if you cant be fecked to count calories etc... but wanna make sure your getting enough protein/carbs aim for 30-40 g protein per meal and 70-80g carbs per meal little guideline i follow anyways | |
