Default MR O - The right result???

Firstly congrats to TH&S on winning the T-Shirt comp;

After looking at the photo's and videos online I would have to question who on earth would possibly place Jay Cutler over Victor or Dexter. Both were in outstanding condition versus Jay who looked a good few days away from being on the money.

I know that scoring competitions like these is subjective, despite the claims to the contrary but this is a joke. I would have to even question the sympathy vote for Ronnie considering the over size and symmetry of Dennis Wolfe. In many of the photos Ronnie is obviously way out of symmetry due to his injury on his left side, I thought that symmetry was one of the prerequisites?

What are your thoughts on the results? Should Jay have taken the Sandow?

in my opinion victor should have won with wolfe second (only just ahead of..) dexter third...

but to dethrone the mr olympia takes alot and if you had victor beating him dexter would have had to beat him too.. and when hes sponsored by the main show sponsor that was never going to happen.

the most positive thing was that apart from jay and ronnie.. the whole of teh top 10 had shape, balance, symmetry, excellent conditioning and no bloated bellys.. which for my opinion is a great omen for the future!

i also think that both jay and ronnie have now proved that playing the size game year after year will ruin the physique as i think both their physiques looked a little "beat up"

good point lee. i think the 'o' this year was the worst one i've ever seen with several guys coming in wayyy off. wolfe was the most impressive for me, but i can't believe people are so surprised by him. he's looked that good for a few years now but is only just getting his rewards. next years olympia will be very interesting. this year, jay was clearly off, surprising to me as jay cutler is the comsumate professional, but he is human i guess. the thing i dislike most though, is that whoever wins, he's ripped apart by the 'fans'. 2 years ago, cutler was being robbed every time. then he wins and everyone turns on him, saying he's too blocky, assymetrical blah blah blah. this year, victor was robbed iun everybody's eyes, but if he wins, he'll get knocked by everyone for the outstandingly obvious mass amounts of oil in most of his bodyparts. the olympia is what it is, love it or hate it, i still wanna go watch one.
