Also, what was it that made you to decide to compete? ______________________ http://WWW.HulahoopsAreAQualityCompleteProteinSource.Com |

Well for the first 6 years of training I juiced, ate crap and blew up to 35%fat, After 7 years i decided to compete and dieted down to 180lbs, I am not blessed with great genetics, but bodybuilding should be fun and a continual learning curve. I stay relatively lean now never going over 200lbs and essentially wont ever get bigger due to continuous carb restriction as i do have the propensity to get fat even on the smallest increment of carbs. But I love the lean ripped look more than the bloated look i used to have, albeit i miss the burger kings lol all the best R ______________________ Placing 2nd is like placing last, Juice to win!!! |

I am starting my first proper cut and Im not really looking forward to it as I know what Im doing with bulking and I know what works for me. Don't know much about cutting, and so Im sure Im going to be starting some threads soon about carb restricted diets. Im probably going to make mistakes as well and loose some substantial gains. ______________________ http://WWW.HulahoopsAreAQualityCompleteProteinSource.Com |

I didnt have a clue about training properly or nutrition until i got into competing, the more i learned the more i improved and even now after years and years am still bloody learning. |

I changed gym because the old one I trained at closed and as soon as I did the owner said I should set a date for a show because nothing focuses the mind like competition, I couldn't really powerlift at any standard anymore due to a torn pec and to be honest weightlifting just doesn't float my boat. My first show was Oct 05 NABBA UK, I realsied I looked pants just no where near enough muscle and decided to do my best to get better, I've competed four times now, it's a brilliant buzz each time I get a little better and learn a bit more about myself. If anyone is thinking of doing a show, I would say go for it, even if you don't make it to the day you'll be in the best condition you ever have been in if you haven't competed before. |
