Hi guys, its been a while so i figured id re-introduce myself. Jamie here. Finally got that satisfying feeling of getting my routine back.
Currently 20 years old, 6 feet tall, 81kg. Im a student and have so far got myself from 70 kg, to 81kg but now have hit a plateu. Im looking to bulk to 85-86. 90kg Would be nice but based on my gains i think i'd be old and grey by then! As i said ive just got back into the swing of things after shattering my hip playing rugby so i figured id post my diet, training up here for critique. Im not seeing the results and im quite confused. here goes Training goes as follows: 2 Power Days 2 bodybuilding day Mon:- Heavy Upper Benchpress 5x5 Shoulder press 5x5 Weighted Chins 4x5 Bent over row 8x5 BB push press 5x5 Wed:-Heavy lower (legs are a struggle right now still due to my hip) Squat 8x5 Dead lift 8x5 Stiff Leg deadlift 8x5 Thurs:-Bodybuilding- Chest and tri Bench 10x4 Incline DB press 10x4 Close grip bench 10x4 Skull crushers 10x4 Cable curls or tricep dips Sat:- Bodybuilding- Back and bi Chins 10x3 Tbar Row 10x4 EZ curl 8x3 Seated db Curl 8x3 Thats a typical week for me, around rugby training too which is where my cardio comes in. My lifts are: Bench 1RM 117.5kg Deadlift 1RM 165kg Squat 1RM 182.5kg Diet looks like: 9 am -1.5 cups of oats, milk and honey or jam for flavour 10am- 4eggs scrambled on a slice of brown bread or crumpet. 1pm- Tuna sandwhich, tin of tuna, 2 slices brown bread 5pm- Bulk supplements MRP- due to uni 8pm- dinner- i love to cook so usually homemade curry, spag bol, chilli, lasagne 11pm- 2 chicken breasts and a 2 cupfuls of boiled potatoes in butter. I drink 3 pints of milk a day throughout the day and plenty of water. I am a student however so eating lean steak 3 times a day is not possible for me. I hope some of you will take the time to read this and critique the hell out of it. Im really looking for bodybuilding based gains, as much as people may or may not agree with it. I'd like to gain more strength but in all honesty I, as many other will agree take a lot of satisfaction seeing results on the scales and in the mirror. This is whats not happening. Im getting stronger, but im still the guy who people dont beleive can lift as i dont look like a train. Any help will be well received. Jamie |
