Default Back Questions

I've kinda asked this before and what it came down to is patience for my lats to grow. The muscle along my spine is much bigger than the rest of my back. I think it looks kind of goofy. I started out with a full body workout 3 days a week, back excercises included were deadlifts and chins. Now I am on a four day split and for back I do:

Deadlifts 3 sets
chins 3 sets
T Bar row, or bent over rows 3 sets
cable rows, either closegrip or the straight bar 3 sets

Maybe I have become self conscious but I still feel like the muscles along my spine are even more out of proportion compared to the rest of my back.

Is this something that I will have to be patient for?, the lats to grow?

or should I tone down the deadlifts and concentrate on the lats more?

Again, if you could only see my back, I am an ectomorph, and the muscles along my spine have taken over!

Thanks guys

Default Re: Back Questions

What do you do for a living? Is it a physical job with lots of lifting? There's a reason your Erectus Spinae are bigger than usual.I would'nt worry about being out of proportion with such relatively hidden and elongated muscles.I think you should take some form of pride in them as they're not that easy to grow if your're not naturally blessed with big ones!Everything else will catch up in time.Just keep building.
