Default whats best for shoulders

...wondering what exercises you guys suggest for adding width to my shoulders (like on side delts) to give a wider shoulder appearance.
Im going to start doing more training with weights as the boxing season has pretty much come to end.
When previously weight training i've always struggled to add good width to my shoulders. A guy from the gym I train at does loads of 'hang clean and presses' for shoulders and swears by them.
so as before what do you guys suggest.
cheers.

what rep range would you recommend mate. One thing I find with training my shoulders is they never seem to ache like other body parts. Like if I train chest or back for example the following couple of days they will always ache so I know they've been worked well but I never get this with shoulders. does anyone else find this.

1st set 12 -15 reps light weight
2nd set 6-8 reps moderate weight.
3rd set 4 or failure which ever comes first w/ heavy weight...IMO

you could try a pre exhaust routine doing 12 reps of side lateral raises followed imediatley by 8 reps military press.

lol sounds like you were talking to me! i love hang clean & press thats a fantastic exersise for your shoulders, tricep/back.

I like things like bradford press (adapted) like you see in rocky

benhind the neck press, dumbell swings - there all good. its finding somthing you like and enjoy doing if you enjoy the exersise then your put extra effort in and get more out of it.

pick a compound exercise and progressively add weight to it whilst backing off progress in all other exercises.

haha no wasnt talking to about you wogihao lol.. this guy swears by them and looks like they are working (for him anyway)

I may try pre-exhausting with side laterals then into a OHP move and see how this goes.

Wogihao what is the bradford press ? never seen this?

This video is how i do them, proper bradford presses are like that but there not full extentions its like bringing the bar just over your head from front to back - i dont like that way though.
