Do you have time to order a bullworker? they are great in situations like this.

I know alot of people knock isometrics but for short periods its good.

There are all sorts of variations on the press up that u can do, different hand positions, or u can raise ur feet of the floor at different angles for example to further engage the delt, (feet against the wall), when I went away last year, I had no gym and was amazed at the quality and intensity of the workout u can have outside of the gym. I think are friend Wogihao put a superb link on another thread showing the Def JAm 'no gym workout' if u can't find it, a simple search on youtube for something like 'ghetto workout' should help. If u can find a park with monkey bars, u can hammer allsorts of dips and chins. If ur with a friend u could give them a piggy back and do calve raises, or find something of a reasonable weight to hold while doing lunges etc, hope that helps, but def search on youtube for some more ideas.

Wondered where you'd got to?Had the same dilemma a while back whilst working in the hell that was the Pernalta mine.Me and the Wayne put a concrete block in my rucksack for chest presses with feet on the floor for 3 sets and on the edge of a bed for 3 sets.Coming accross a breeze block in a hotel room will be unlikely so free body will be ok just press to death. For shoulders we did hand stand presses whilst holding each others ankles, that was fun!You might have to do them against a wall or grab a night porter!Wayne found an ingenious way of doing two handed hammer curls holding the legs of a small table. We put our work boots on the base to add weight.Abs you will get your head around obviously. We attempted to do squats and calfs in piggy back mode an although we where laughing like the childish bafoons you know we are and did'nt really feel like it worked our legs killed the next day so might wanna grab that porter.

wogihao,

Have you used Isometrics in your training? I just recently read about a different and it seems more effective way to do isometric exercise. They call it post isometric contractions. It's similar to doing that last rep when you can't do any more.

I started using the protocol 3 weeks and I am seeing significant increases in strength.

Cheers
