Wink Once a week

I have been doing a full body workout in my gym only once a week and i feel like its really working.
I was training 3-4 times per week but my muscles were always aching. So they were not really recovering properly.
But now i only train once a week in my gym my muscles are finding time to recover, and i can see a difference in this.

No more fancy machines, 1 day in gym then do the rest at home
As soon as i finish lifting weights at home its straight in the kitchen to make my munch followed with my Whey......

When i started 2 years ago i was training everyday( silly me)

LESS IS REALLY MORE

Yep, sometimes less can be more

I'm still only training twice a week myself.

Same here.

Most bodybuilders would collapse at the thought of training twice a week. It's all about recovery IMO.

If your not genetically gifted to recover, there is nothing wrong with training once or twice a week.

I bet just training once per week is allowing your lifts to improve, isn't it?

Yes i'm still doing weights at home.but its not a proper hardcore workout, lol
more like lift some weights then sit down on the sofa then start again.lol
At home i'm doing arms,shoulders.
So when i go to the gym still only once a week i'm still doing fullbody workout. It takes me about 1 hour. I like to get in then out, no hanging around..lol lol
But since i have been going once a week my muscles are getting plenty of good rest. And my lifts are much better, plus i can see a difference in my body too.

good to hear your trying less frequent workouts bud-
i`d still train as soon as youre genuinely recovered tho.
upper body workouts arent that systemically demanding.

I'm gonna go back and train twice a week from tomorrow(monday and thursday)
Monday im gonna do chest and shoulders
Thursday im gonna do legs and back
Arms i do at home.

I can't believe i used to train 4 times a week. My muscles were always aching
But now they are resting and i'm giving them proper time to recover
I love doing my legs, In my new gym they have nice and heavy weights.Last week i did 140kg leg press and i was loving the pain. lol lol
Plus no more smith machine,How much does the olympic bar weigh cause i only managed 60kg, so im guessing the bar is 20kg cause i can normally lift 80kg( 40kg each side of smith machine
