Default Hamstrings of Doom

I don't know if any of you guys caught this clip in amongst the Varsity house vids so thought id share the most savage form of hamstring training ive seen.Surely this ain't good for your knee ligaments!

Hard to say if they've cut them at a specific weight or its just random.I'll have a stab at say 12kg!!!!

GHRs! Love em! 2x10 reps at BW + 40kgs is bad. Might have a look into doing the drop sets

I'm still trying to come to terms with Bulgarian lunges.Got up to a pair of 36kg db's and nearly Swan dived through the mirrror!

Doubt they'd be very effective for Hamstrings, I'd be way more impressed if he didn't drop his knees prior to straightening his back.

I was doing fine with the 25's but computer said 'no' on the 36's.I think those glute and ham raises are more for strength than anything else.These guys are all training for American football so i guess it'll aid them in their head collision's.Drive power!
