| Making Progress | I'm thinking of doing a full body workout for a couple of months I would like to know which BEST exercises should i do to gain the BEST results. I will do this once a week so i want something proper hardcore..lol lol ______________________ TIME FOR A CUT |

| Iv'e tried split routine and full body (or HST) training and iv'e always been of the understanding that muscle only grows with steady repetitive training so once a week may not suffice. If you were doing a HST routine 3 times per week i would advise that you do 1 or 2 sets (of 10-12 reps) on each exercise and 1 or 2 exercises per muscle group. I like to start from the bottom and work my way up i.e legs, then abs, then chest, back, lats, shoulders then triceps and biceps. It feels like your not doing enough but i have logged my best gains with this routine, and after a split routine which gained me nothing at all i am back to full body workouts again. | |
