its traditional to do back then bi`s and chest then tri`s.
I think he's saying that a standard 3 day split would be less beneficial than 3x Fullbody / Westside Template etc etc and that the body is ready to train a muscle 72hours after training.

Thanks for input have put together 2 new routines, thinking of sticking with the 4 day, but I don't usually ache for more than 2 days so maybe I give the muscles too much rest on the 4 day one?

I have now changed it so I do chest and back first on those days, and made it so I don't do shoulders after chest and tricep day.

For biceps I would change to BB curl first, followed by hammer curls, then concentration curls...Kinda a biggest to smallest thing... I'll leave someone else to critique the rest

Same as Cellaratt says, but follow it through to all of your days.

Biggest Compounds first. For example on your list you are doing Squats last, when really they should be first.

Deadlifts are also traditionally considered a back exercise.

You could also chop alot of those exercises out to be honest...

Ok, I have now put deadlifts with back, and biggest compounds first...I'm all ears as to what to chop off?

Ahh I was after something like that, didn't spot that before. That really cuts our a lot of what I'm doing, I have lots of time for gym and recovery, do you think doing that with a day rest after each session is enough?

Haha, ok thanks for the advice, just did my Legs workout at the gym and it felt silly not doing Calves with them after what I have seen here. And then if I put calves into legs day that leaves a whole day free for shoulders, so that might as well be in one of the other days...which leaves me with a 3 day split.

I think I will do your routine..

The Routine

Pull Day (Back and Bis)

Deadlifts
Chins (Palms facing) or Lat Pulldowns
Rows (Palms facing if you wish)

Legs

Squats
SLDL
Calf Raises (Optional)

Push Day (Chest,Tris and Shoulders)

Bench (Flat or Incline)
Overhead Press
Dips Or Close Grip Bench Press

Is that really enough exercises? Like can I not whack in some bicep curls etc??

If you have gone heavy enough on Pull day the thought of doing some Bi Curls should fill you with dread

The Palms Facing PullUps / Rows will give your Bis a good workout.
