Rep Power: Symbiote is on a distinguished road
Default Starting Out

Well I've just recently tooking an interest in body building. I just want to have a better body, mostly for a confidence boost. I'm aiming for something like this:

http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n...vin-diesel.jpg

I'm thin, really thin, so I know this is a long way off for me, but I'll work as hard as possible for it.

Basically I need to know what excercises I should be doing, How often, How I should be lifting them (Like less reps more weight or less weight more reps, I'm not sure)

And I know that a diet is essential, unfortunatly I have no idea how to construct a diet, so could you help me with that to.

I've asked this question many places but they keep telling me to look through the sites and find it myself, but I can't find them and I don't understand what exactly I should be doing, so could you please answer it here, then I can write things down on my notepad for reference and when I'm at the gym.

Thanks for any replies, I'm getting pretty stressed and desperate now lol.

Default Re: Starting Out

I'm a newbie myself but this is my advice to you:

For a start, you should find yourself a good nutrition website and just read everything you can. Also do the same with a bodybuilding site, you need to know how to exicute the right form etc... Here's one of my faveroutes, Intense Workout - weightlifting, bodybuilding, weight loss, weight gain, routines.

With your diet, if you're skinny you should just go and eat everything you can see!

You should eat good wholesome foods like; Steak, chicken, rice, oats, potatoes, fish, and fruit & vedge.

You should also be looking to get as much protien down you at possible, I haven't tried it myself yet, but Extreme's Whey Protien Shake is probably your best bet. Oh, and don't forget WATER! I'd say atleast 6 pints a day!

As I said, I'm a complete newb myself. So I wouldn't realy be in a position to give you a proper diet plan nor workout routine.

But I'll give it a go, a workout routine anyway...

Monday: Biceps & Legs
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: Delts & Triceps
Thursday: Back & Chest
Friday: off
Saturday: Biceps & Delts
Sunday: Off

But, yeah, just go and read and watch videos on youtube to try and get the right form and learn different exercises.
