Default Recovery/Training

Okay question:

I'm sure I'm gonna get heckled for this one but whatever.

I train thrice weekly and I'm done in about 30-45mins with multiple bodyparts aching.

What would happen if I trained every day, twice a day but for only 15mins at a time...

So Monday: AM Chest, PM Tri's

etc etc etc etc

Not that I am thinking of doing this BTW - I'm just curious

I know Jay Cutler trains twice a day often. But then again he's a Klingon

Its worth trying doing splits in 2 different parts of the day as you got a full set of energy to do each body part.

If your muscles are aching so much, thought about swithcing body parts around?

How bad are the aches?

Lol sorry I best just steer this back on track - as I was saying I'm working to fatigue everytime. But ignore my training for a moment, I want to know why twice a day for 15-20mins would be a good or a bad idea

Im guessing it might be a bit overkill because you'd always be training and never resting. I'm sure someone can give you a more knowledgable response than that though.

I know people that train twice a day 3 days a week. I tried but I found even training different muscle groups in the 2nd session, I didn't have enough energy. I prefer once a day 6 days a week, that way every body part gets hit twice a week and ur fresh for each session. I guess there's no hard and fast rule, whatever floats your boat, 2 15 min sessons might work for some people, seems a little short to me, even if u are only resting say, 30 secs - a minute between sets. Does the 15 mins include warm up/warm down?

Heh sorry gents again I wasn't being specific with 15mins or 7 days a week - just trying to workout how it would affect the body.

Sorry if I'm being a bit obtuse

Makes you wonder what the affect would be on your metabolism? It might be more affective if you're cutting.
ALthough if you have a good pre and post work out meal with both times you train your blood should be good and loaded with nutrients to feed the pumped muscle.
I'm not educated enough to give a good answer but, it is a good question.
I wonder if Bulldozer has any answers here. He does read a lot

it's all relative to your lifestyle. if you do f*ck all, all day then you probably could train that way although i'd still take at least 1 day off each week. i believe bertil fox used to train twice a day 7 days a week in his early career and still drove trains in the day.
