imo you should stop trying to look for intriguing routines that shock and hit the muscle from all the angles.
keep it basic and add poundage to the bar-
that`ll shock ya chest into growing-
if ya cant add poundage back off the volume of youre entire routine till you can.
i do no more than 5 sets max per exercise.

I agree. keep it simple. Maybe every 6 to 8 weeks change the way you work out so that your muscle doesn't become accustomed to doing the same thing all the time. Upping the poundage will do it, like call said. Maybe sometimes switch between barbell presses to dumbell presses etc. I alter my work out in such a fasion regulary to achieve the shock such an alteration acheives.

same is happening to me, i cant get my chest to grow anymore, so every 4 weeks i change my training and shock the muscle, remember if you keep training the same way i.e same exercises, traing heavy all the time and not changing your programme your body will get used to it, so like i say ever 4 weeks i change the exercises and once every 6 weeks i chance from heavy lifting to light weights and high reps, see if that works.

Ive never had the problem of bodyparts not responding to my training. My training consists of 2 styles. basic weights max 9 sets per body part, then after a while ill do drop sets at the end. i.e drop sets at the end of bench press, then drop sets at the end of inclines and then drop sets at the end of fly's. This works for me, not saying it will work for you however it does let you train with great intensity.

Hi Mate

I always do an isolation movement i.e. flyes to exhaustion then incline pressing, keep it very simple varying angle of incline,

The squeeze at the top and the stretch at the bottom IMO are the two areas often missed, don't get it up (scuse the term) and back again as fast as you can, slllowwly push that sucker and squeeze, think chest at the top or halfway mark and come right down and stretch, that's the bit that does the work, finish on the Pdec or some high and low flys if you must and leave the chest alone then for 7 days, done properly it should be sore after, personally I hate flat pressing so mainly do incline and several sets of weighted dips with emphasis on fwd lean, I need to back off, I'm getting out of proportion, (chest is favourite work-out)
