| Illuminati | hmm if your calves are actually getting thinner i cant think of anything other than that youre overtraining them or maybe too higha rep count and not enuff weight. my calves are sh1te too theyll never be great-genetics.... ive found deadlifts/squats do help tho for general thickening. i`d stick with standing single leg calf raises and donkey raises(where you`re bent over) 10-15 reps and whilst keeping good form concentrate on adding maybe only 1-5 lb`s a week EVERY week and stick with it. i read an article way back when about arnies calves and how he built them up(cos his were sh1t too) i think he said it took him over 500 hours to build them ______________________ einsteins mind was the key to all things...to understand more than to know. www.englishmuscle.co.uk www.extremenutrition.co.uk |

| Making Progress | IMO if you wanna put 2 inches on your calfs your gonna have to increase overall bodyweight by 20 lbs or so. Unless they have been seriously undertrained for a long period of time your not just gonna magically put 2 inches on them without an increase in overall weight/ size. Once again IMO. ______________________ Opinions are like as*holes.......Everybody has one |

Calves are 17" and the only thing I use to train them directly (other than leg press / squats) are standing calve raises at 200k for 3 sets. |
