Default routine and diet

hi i am new to the bodybuilding game and was just wondering
would it be better to go monday to friday or 3 days a week
also what would you reccomend to eat and what muscles to work on
i am quiet skinny and want to get all my muscles to get bigger especially arms and chest area
all help appreciated thanx
