Default 1hr Shoulder Routine - Need Advice

right guys im currently training 5 days a week, 1/2 muscle a day going really great.

However my shoulder routine isn't so good.

So i would like some suggestions on a routine that works out my shoulders for a good 1 hour.

I dont believe in over training if im only training a muscle once a week so throw everything in.

Overtraining is a whole body symptom. Your body only has a certain capacity to repair itself so even training a different muscle everyday is still going to deplete its ability to recover.

A full hour on shoulders seems like a hell of a lot to me...I think you would be over training if you worked out like this for five days a week.

one other thing, if you workout your shoulders for one hour the intensity is gonna have to be very low!

You might get a good pump(which is not the sign of a productive workout) and im sure your ache the next day for sure!

But..... that will be because all the lactic acid thats built up

i usually ache for several days after all my workouts besides shoulders.
Shoulders are the only muscle that i dont really feel it next day.
But yea i guess my training is low intensity.

I think i should rephrase my question, im basically looking for some good shoulder exercises any advice on what works for you guys.

to Cal:

i do grow grow pretty quick. Not to say im lean or anything. But my bodyweight and strength increases each week so im happy with that.

heres my pic im 17 stone 8 in this pic. That was last year, using the same training i do now.
My waist grow lol, but i think thats down to the volume of eating and not training.
im not one of these guys that dont train their abs. I do train my ABs but my diet doesnt allow for them to show

i do probs an hour at least on delts! and i have same problem... they are one of only muscle groups that are pretty much never sore after training! they also seem to respond really well tho! i find if i do less then they shrink a little!

my current routine is something like:

dumbell press
smith press (front)
dumbell side lateralls
one arm cable side laterals
cable raises to front
bent over one arm side laterals with dumbell (to hit rear delt)
smith press (to rear)
sometimes ill also do seated dumbell side lateralls

all exercises are for 2-5 sets of anything from 8-25 reps depending omn how i feel and how quickly an intense pump comes. but i train hard and heavy on delts pretty much all the time. nearly every other week i hit rear delts first!

after all that i then move on to traps!!

i would never simply suggest this to anyone else.. i have just found what i think works for me!

My shoulders actually twitch after a heavy workout, and it hurts when they do.

In an hour I'd expect to have warmed up, trained a couple of body parts , showered and offski. I've seen guys take an hour per body part but mostly they just gab to each other.
