ive learnt that the safest and most productive range of motion is the one that can be applied week after week and remain injury free.
makes me die when i read someone got X amount of kg`s atg style on squats for 2 reps.
next thing ya know theyve pulled sommat....
+ everyone knows they should stretch-most cant be arsed!
nobody gets away with it forever!

Red face Re: Amended training for injuries.

[quote=Gazz;218047]How did you do that exactly Pikey and how long did it take to heal?

Hi Gazz,

I did it benching, bit of a long story but I was favoring my right elbow as it was knocked up a bit, any was going for 180K with pause at around about 75K bodyweight, got to the sticking point on the positive portion of the rep and it gave out… Bruised from waist to wrist.

All in all it was probably “healed” in about 16 weeks as in it didn’t feel like a knife in my chest every time I tried to use it. Not sure I helped things much as next day I was doing dips in a bath full of water to support me to try and keep range of motion…But it took a good while to learn how to get my arm to move symmetrical to the other one.
