Default chest and Shoulder workout?

i was wondering if anyone has ever tried a chest and shoulder workout as part of thier split.

Ive been noticing lately that my front delts are still sore in between shoulder and chest day, effecting either workout. I was suppose to do chest and bis today but my front delts were so tight and still sore it basically turned into just a bi workout, im a little pissed but i still had a good bi workout. i basically did all flies after 2 sets of a bench press, cuz my shoulders just couldnt take it and i figured it would be best to not even train chest.

So enough babble, has anyone tried this split, doing chest and shoulders in the same day? I figured this way i cream my delts with all the pressing in one day and they have a full week rest before i do any upper body pressing.

currently i do

mon : back, hams
Tues: shoulders, tris
wed; off
Thurs: quads, calves
Fri : chest , bis, forearms
sat and sun ; off ( or cardio)

thinking of switching tues: chest shoulders and fri: bis and tris

any suggestions on a goo shoulder, chest workout would be much appreciated or any other advice too!

cheers

you dont have to base your training on a 7 day week-
why not just have an extra rest day.
(i`m guessing that not what you want to hear tho )

Try chest, shoulders and tris. The pressing warms up your shoulders and the shoulders warms up your tris.

personally id just swap your chest and shoulders days around... then you shouldnt have sore shoulders on chest day... you may have a sore chest but that shouldnt take away from your shoulder training!

Smile Big Ronnie

Ronnie Coleman trains chest, shoulders and triceps together so if its good enough for the former mr olympia then its good enough for me.

Well i appreciate ur input guys

I use to have my chest and shoulder days swapped, but ive been wanting to put my shoulders closer in the week to give them somewhat priority cuz im having trouble getting my side delts to "pop" out.

and cal i knew when i saw u replied it would say something like that " take more rest" and i have actually been beggining to do that, but i still have trouble with not training my whole body in a 7 day cycle. I need to learn to pry myself from that, but the prob is i literally go insane when i dont get a 'pump" at least 4 days a week.

and the chest, shoulders, tris i might give that a go, well see

cheers guys
