From watching the pros train they all have the own style like Ronnie uses high intensity, Cutler uses volume and johnnie jackson uses heavy. I myself have always used heavy low rep sets in a rep range of 5-8 and it has always worked well, do you think increasing the reps up to 12 will benefit my muscle growth. How do you guys train? |

You find that as you develop your physique you mentally switch from simply bulking to sculpting and adjust your workouts more according to your current training priority. It's good to switch and rotate to shock muscles as they do get used to one pattern of training be it volume, weight, intensity, duration or movements/angles that you change. However, you also learn with time which particular methods or workouts work well for specific goals and which things you are best avoiding for your particular physique. |

What works for Ronnie Coleman ain't gonna necessarily be whats best for you. Mix up your routines and find what works for you. On a personal note the only routine that packs size on me is heavy 4-6 reps, 3 exercises per body part, sticking to basic compound exercises. |
