Default 2007 plans

Training wise, list your plans.

Me:

Next 4 weeks: heavy weights, lower volume, some low intensity cardio, still eat big ---> AIM: solidify the gains I have just made in the past 3 - 4 months

Feb/mid feb --> April: Moderate intensity cardio, up the volume somewhat on training days but drop days down to 4/7, dropping calories (in the form of carbs) - aim: start shedding body fat, but without going too extreme and allowing myself to do it slowly

April (hopefully a nice looking bodyfat here) --> June/July: Intensify the cut, bit of carb cycling, try and maintain as much mass through careful supplementation and diet whilst aiming for maybe 12% or even 10% if really successful !

Net result, i want to minimise any catabolism and shed as much fat as possible. I really want this to be successful... This time i won't be living on ephedrine as I think the heart/mood/catabolic properties it has aren't worth it. My main problem is going to be fighting my massive apetite, and trying not to go out and party too much

Nick

You certainly have your year planned out there nick!!

Im not a big fan of making plans, too many things can happen in life to bugger them up!!

But if i had to plan, i wanna maintain my approximate weight or around it but change my body composition. Im probably about 20/23% fat at the mo, be nice to get down to about 12/15 % by the end of the year but still be around the same body weight.

Bulk for three months, then start a cut. Stop drinking so much at the weekends because it really messes with my training. Also to increase my cardio whilst bulking because I do non at the moment.

Cant think ahead anymore than that or add any details as to exactly how Im going to go about it yet.

i stopped training for 9 months same old story so my goals are to try and get back where i was and take it from there.

Only differences this time is im going to try do more cardio and see what effects training every day has on me.

Im going to aim to do something every day, but ill only lift 4 days a week, filling the gaps of the other days with cardio and body movements.

My goals are to keep doing what ive been doing for the most part. Put on good muscle size and maintain good body fat % and a 6 pack. keep the training hard and keep the cardio up. nice clean diet 6-7 meals a day cycling carbs every 3 days or so.

Ive just recently put my back, shoulders and tris in the first 2 days of my weekly training routine to try bring them up to proportion with my chest and front delts. I gotta reallly start killing my calves and hams more too.

cheers to everyone and their 2007 goals

aims this year is simply to train with the powerlifting guys and gain mass, and prepare the foundations for hopefully competing in next years EBFF european championships and IFBB worlds at about 3-4kg heavier than last year. Hopefully this will get me into the top 5 in europe. Fingers crossed!

After last year out training for my dan grade I'm back focussing on bodybuilding and concentrating on adding mass this year. Last time I competed I was a Novice, the next step up for me is Heavyweights/Tall class so I'll be bulking for as long as it takes until I have enough size to have a chance at winning, however many years that takes. Priorities for me at the moment are bi peak, upper chest, balancing rear delts. I'll be training with these having priority for at least the next 3 months the reassessing then to see if anything else needs adjusting. Packing the size back on at the moment... up 21lb since my grading at end of Dec. but I did lose a bit for it in the first place.

My training has been a bit hit and miss for a while now. Just joined a lovely new gym which has got me back on track, I need a change of scenery every so often. I'm trainin 3x per week with weights concentrating on core lifts. Doing regular cardio with my uni room mate - an ex marine who is in great cardiovascular shape. I'm enjoying it.
