Default Chest workout suddenly not working?

Hi all My chest routine used to get me almost in tears it would burn and hurt so bad. It would feel like my chest was going to blow off my body. The last 2 weeks it hasn't been doing so well. In fact I have been having trouble feeling anything at all. Partener saya form is still good. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated. My workout routine is in anabolic forum.

One should never feel like that on a work out ever, you probably done more damage than good, and eventually it's caught up with you. Ease off for a few weeks go light, give your chest a break. Gee i never take my muscles that far its total damage mate and not muscle building.

My opinion of course.

I am doing 16 sets for reps of 8 to 10. Been cutting back on sets/reps by half since last week. LeeB how much should I change, the whole workout?

Wow man 16 sets, i do 9 and it hurts for a few days after mate. I know people will disagree but 16 sets is way too much. I think ive told you this before, 16 sets too much and the fact your chest no longer responds points to this fact.

Also no offence but the fact that he no longer suffers DOMS certainly doesn't point to overtraining excessive DOMS and fatigue is actually a sign of overtraining so its completely the opposite. No Doms after 16 sets means up the intensity not lower the sets?
